A 70-year-old man is the oldest person arrested during the rioting after looting a supermarket, it emerged today.
The pensioner accepted a caution after admitting theft from the Sainsbury’s store in Ealing, west London.
He was one of more than 200 people to raid the store as violence raged on the streets.
